BMI – Be My Invitee
After a pandemic-related two-years pause we were glad to invite our business partners and friends to our annual after-work drink again.
On 22 September 2022, the team of BIL Manage Invest welcomed its guest at the galerie indépendance of BIL’s headquarter, a special and unique location in the heart of Luxembourg City.
Alain Bastin, Chief Executive Officer of BIL Manage Invest, addressed some personal words to the audience and gave some interesting insights not only on the company’s recent and successful evolution but also presented an outlook to its future challenges and targets of which the strengthening of its continuous growth is only one of many.
The next event is already being planned: In 2023, BIL Manage Invest will celebrate its 10th anniversary!

New in-house management of BIL Invest
Following the regulatory approval received in December 2019, we are happy to announce the successful transition of the Management Company of the BIL Invest SICAV to BIL Manage Invest on 17th January 2020.
The BIL Invest SICAV offers a full range of (sub-)funds that cover equity, fixed income, mixed asset and short bond investments. It currently consists of 17 sub-funds representing a total AuM of more than EUR 1 billion as of end of December 2019. On 21 June, BIL Manage Invest celebrated the second edition of its summer drink, after a successful launch of the event on its 5th anniversary exactly one year ago.
Alain Bastin, Chief Executive Officer of BIL Manage Invest, welcomed all our guests at the Knokke-Out Bar at Rives de Clausen where the entire team of BIL Manage Invest thanked their business partners for their continued trust and successful collaboration.
Vouching for BMI’s excellence commitment, Hans-Peter Borgh and Jan Stig Rasmussen, Board members of BIL Manage Invest, were present and exchanged with the company’s business partners who had nothing but praise for BMI’s services.

Lugano event – RAIF Presentation (12/09/2018)
Last September 12, BIL Manage Invest in cooperation with BIL organized a presentation in Lugano.
Giulio Senatore, Head of Portfolio Management Financial Assets and Paul Sebastien Carteret, Head of Legal, explained the main characteristics and advantages of the RAIF and introduced BIL Manage Invest capabilities to the attendees. Filippo Negri, Head of Med Markets, MENA & CIS, and Albert Pennacchio, Head of WV Professional Intermediaries presented the capabilities of BIL and BIL depositary bank, respectively. The presentation, which was attended by an audience of external asset managers, lawyers and fiduciaries, was held at the Moncucchetto wine cellar and was followed by a wine tasting moment.

It was to celebrate the summer solstice that BIL Manage Invest team received their guests at the Knokke-Out Bar at Rives de Clausen. Alain Bastin, Chief Executive Officer of BIL Manage Invest, was glad to welcome over 50 guests for an evening of fun, football and festivities.
It was the opportunity for BIL Manage Invest to thank its business partners for their trust and their fruitful collaboration but also to strengthen existing relationships.

BIL Manage Invest together with BIL has attended the Iberian Private Equity Conference in Madrid on 19 April 2018.
For this 5th edition this conference has gathered more than 80 Limited Partners, 90 General Partners, 60 CxOs at the Westin Palace Madrid during a one day event.
The Iberian market has raised over €10b since 2008 and once again the Iberian Private Equity Conference has provided the most up-to-date insights from leading Limited Partners and General Partners in the region. With over 75 fund managers and 25 investors based in the city, Madrid provides an optimal environment to discuss the current trends in the region with views from both local and international players. For its 8th edition this conference has gathered more than 80 LPs, 100 GPs, 70 CxOs at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm during a one day event.
Every year since 2010, the Nordic Private Capital Day has provided a platform for investors in and around the Nordics to share their thoughts and expand their networks. Through panels, networking, and personal meetings, the conference has each year provided its participants with a first-hand view of what is moving in the region. Throughout the years, experts have shared their views on current trends like Direct & Co-Investing from LPs and the focus on human capital in the value creation process.

This two-day event was packed with valuable and relevant content for professional funds’ buyers, portfolio managers and asset allocators across Europe. BIL Manage Invest Head of Financial Assets, Giulio Senatore, has actively contributed to the event as panelist on the first day of the congress.

BIL Manage Invest has attended the Chinese New Year reception organized by The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels and the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX) on 22 February 2018.
Bringing in the Year of the Dog, this flagship event in the CHINALUX calendar welcomed a full-capacity room of guests. Speeches were delivered by Mr. Carlo Thelen, Director General, Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, H.E. Mr. Pierre GRAMEGNA, Minister of Finance, H.E. BMI was delighted to attend this conference during which business cooperation between China & Luxembourg have been discussed.
